Lamoresca's Filippo Rizzo believes in producing totally naturally wines: no chemicals or herbicides in the vineyard and no additives or sulfites in the winemaking. In addition, he vinifies outdoors without temperature control and only with native yeasts and ages the wines in cement tanks. His aim is to make an authentic traditional wine from this region in the Mediterranean. He makes mostly reds, but he also produces this extremely rare white made from the Vermentino Corso grape. He was inspired by the white wines of Massa Vecchia in Tuscany and Antoine Arena in Corsica. He ferments the grapes in a plastic vessel or "tini" without temperature control and allows the juice to macerate with the skin for 2 days. The wine matures in both cement and old barrels. This is irresistible. Beautifully aromatic and rich and fresh on the palate
