Exceptional and unique junmai ginjo sake brewed in the old, slow yamahai method of using wild yeasts. Very few sake today is still made in this way. Tamanohikari was founded in Kyoto in 1673 and was one of the pioneers of pure rice junmaishu sake. This is a sake with extraordinary natural flavors unique to yamahai sake. Hard to believe this premium class junmai ginjo is priced as such a bargain by one of the most respected and venerable Kyoto breweries.
